help with an 8.8

i think the jeep came from the east coast. we found a little penny, the kind you roll flat and it puts a picture on it, that said Massachusets on it. I thought it was weird they would weld the tubes and install the new perches and shock tabs but not get rid of the rust while they were at it.

Stang i thought it was gonna be red too but it ended up being a flat black...

nice to meet you too man. thanks a bunch! and you could have mentioned that you do trusses for the 8.8 i probably would have left it down there for you to do that to it!

but for those who wanted to know it just ended up being that who ever installed the gears did not use locktight on the carrier to ring bolts and it vibrated out. in turn the sound i was hearing ended up being the tone ring rubbing on the diff cover. the back lash is still within spec and all the bearings seam to turn with little to no resistance and do not apear to be seized.

Oh, and turn your diff cover over...it's upside down.
