Help! Thinking of selling my Xj.

Hey guys i was wonder if yall have any idea what a good price for my xj is?:dunno:

Its a 1996 Cherokee SE. The body has 195xxx mile BUT the motor was replace with a reman before i bought it. It has roughly 20k on it and the trans has been replaced too, but idk when. It is a 2wd and the clear is peeling and few dents on the outside. The interior is in pretty good shape other than some stains and the door handles are breaking off. I've replace the rad thermo and hoses. Fixed the a/c, its ice cold. Brakes all the way around and Brand new Goodyear wrangler 235-75-r15. Ill post some pics if someone tells me how. I paid $1,400 for mine and its a '95 4x4. Generally get 2wds in decent condition for under the $2k mark unless they are super clean and the newer 97+ body style. At least that is what I have seen. Haven't been focusing on the real good shape ones, just been hunting for junker parts donors.

Also, why are you selling? Sounds like you got a real good start for a 4x4 conversion.

5.9? those WJs are really nice and comfy

i'd ask $3000-$3500, but actual value would run about $1500-$2000. XJ's are very very abundant. all to often the nice 4x4 or 2wd XJ's are over priced, even more so if here 97+.

I'm not gonna wheel it, just a mall cruiser. If i get it.I a store manager for Parts Plus and i have alot of commerial accounts and my customers dont like to ride in my xj. Last guy asked if we were gonna make it out of the drive way!

oh and i think its the 4.7 or 4.8. cant remember which one.....

Itll be a 4.7L. Thats the only V8 that came in the WJ. There was a H.O. and a regular version of the 4.7 though I believe.
