Help! My Wallet Needs Ice

I need ice on my wallet ASAP! It just got beat up at Discount Tire. $1000 for tires! OUCH! Oh well they were need for the upcoming transformation. 33/1250/r15 MTR's.

I think you'll like them better than the M-Ts, plus you get the warranty, plus they'll fit the emission treadmill.

Did that include wheels?

You spent 1000$ just for the tires? They quoted me 900$ or so for 33x12.5 BFG M/T's w/ rims a few months ago. I wound up finding my 32x11.5 BFG M/T's already mounted and balanced for 600$ off of CraigsList.

after road hazards, mounting, balancing, and tax it was 9**.** Don't have the reciept in front of me right now, but i got tired of waiting to find some good ones on craigslist. This way I have waranty.

and they DID go up recently, cause i checked a few weeks ago and they'd gone up about $20 a tire or so.

I spent 600 for my 35" MAXXIS Mudders!! Can't do that again as the price went up 45 per tire. You can thank OPEC for that one as it takes a fair amount of oil to produce tires!!

Here is what I think of OPEC, I blocked out two of the letters to appease our moderators. I do have the stencil still, so if you want it for your rig lmk.

Oh, I'm sure OPEC ain't bothered by our use of their oil...in fact they encourage our use of more and more of it!

Thats why I only buy from conoco, they get their oil from the mexicans. In truth OPEC only controls about 40% of the oil, but they control enough that they still set the price.

Oh, and in truth I only buy from conoco when its cheaper. otherwise its safeway fuel for me and i have no idea where they get their water. luckily i'm getting almost 18mpg with the "new" 3.55's. Not bad considering i;m on 32" tires.

I think I got most of you beat... got four 42" Iroks with ~70-75% tread for $600. I work at Discount Tire Co...and yes the cost of tires are going up just as everything else...
