help me choose some new leaf springs

im sure it can be slid forward to allow for a longer spring with minimal modification. but yes, it is intended, as their site states, for beefing up/replacing the stock hanger

Yeah, I know they're made for the stock location, but it looks like it would be easy to slide them forward. I moved the spring hangers forward on the last XJ, and this could be a good way to do it. Have to think about what longer springs I would use, last time I used an MJ main leaf and then a 1/2 ton Chev pack with full length liners, and it rode pretty well. The stock length Deavers might be better, but a custom longer Deaver could be really nice.

yeah it seems those brackets would only make using a longer leaf easier than custom making your own.
