Hey guys,

I don't post over here much, but I was hoping you could help out a fellow so cal trail rider (and his friend!) My friend, Chris Ridgway, is trying to enter into a race for King Of The Hammers 2009.

1998 – U.S. Hot Rod Off-Road Championship Series – 8th Overall, 400cc (Pro)

1999 – U.S. Hot Rod Off-Road Championship Series – 3rd Overall, 426cc (Pro)

Injured (re-broke left leg)

2000 – S.C.O.R.E. Baja 2000, BC, Mexico – 3rd Overall, 250cc (Pro)

2001 – Injured (broke right femur and hip)

2002 – Started Business (race car and motorcycle transport)

Left Leg Amputated From Previous Injuries (below knee)

2003 – Rehabilitation of residual limb

2004 – Competed in various sports car races to earn professional status

2005 – Competed in Grand American Road Racing Association, Rolex Series (Pro)

2006 – No professional racing because of limited budget

2007 – Extremity Games Motocross Gold Medalist ( Orlando , Florida )

2008 – Extremity Games Motocross Gold Medalist ( Millington,MI )

- X Games 14 Adaptive Moto X Gold Medalist (Los Angeles, CA)

- XRRA West Regional round 1 3rd Place - co-driver (Derek Trent) (Moab, UT)

- XRRA West Regional round 2 7th Place - driver (Albuquerque, NM)

- XRRA West Regional round 3 14th Place - driver (Colorado springs, CO)

- Prairie City Rock Race 2nd place - driver (Sacramento, CA)

Chris I'm sure will do well in the LCQ and If this were a motorcross event... well then I'd vote for him.. However, his experience in rock racing is limited to a few races in 08' ... Rusty's been in this for a long time!!!

Also for Rusty to go to the LCQ he'd have quite a trip... for Chris.. what, it's a couple hour drive?

East Coast FTW... Doug Bigelow and Rusty should put up a good showing....

I still wonder why some of these 'last chance' guys didn't get into the race to start with.

Dave Cole noted sometime back that people were not puting much effort into thier applications.......
