Heim question on 7100's

How do I re-install the heims on my 7100's? I bought a set of shocks used and the heims arn't installed. I tried one heim and it wouldn't fit in. Tried to use a little force and lube and all she did was scream. So, it can't be that difficult to get these in, any advice is appreciated.

isn't one side of the hole bigger than the other? i seem to remember a snap ring on my 9100s holding the heim unit in.

If he was on the shoulder side, it wouldnt be 'close', it'd be like trying to stick a golf ball thru a garden hose...

You can put the uniball in the freezer for a day or so, should you get it figured out, but its still tight. Check for burr's inside the shock end cap, they'll cause trouble.
