Heater A/C Blower Switch

Need a heater blower switch for a 98 XJ. Mine only works on high and it really sucks....

I have an extra one - because I had the same problem w/ my '99. But when I replaced the switch, i still had the problem...
Turns out the resistor is what is bad. Not the switch. You'll have to get one at the stealership, but I remember it being pretty cheap-under $15 I think

look up under the Pass. footwell and you'll see a small panel on the plastic blower housing. The resistor is behind that panel.

I will try looking for that. I figured the switch had to be bad because the motor still would run. I did notice an electrical burning smell right before it went out. The resistor burning up would explain that.... Something for me to check tomorrow after work! Thanks for the info.....
