need better lights, and miss the blue HIDs from my RX8. since im not doing a HID conversion atm, thinking one of these two.

I had the Rampage ones on my old Jeep. Didn't do anything but the PO didn't do anything to the wiring and i've heard that's Key...

These are the ones I run in my xj and love them I have run them for 2 yrs now and no problems. The nice thing is they are all glass and metal.

I went with vision x, 95 buck canadian

I found the bulbs were crap, put some piaa bulbs in and I'm way happy, put my nighthawks to shame

I used this to help me build my headlight harness:

I really noticed a big difference with the harness alone. The euro cut off on the headlamps makes a huge difference and is really noticeable.

Are you running that kit? How is the cut off? I really wanna go HID but I want it done right cause I can spot a crappy conversion from so far off and I dont want to be "that guy"/

well the first kit i ran was those HID lights but in a housing set up for H4, the light scatter was iffy, but holy jesus the light improvement was sex!!
i have cheapo projector lenses now and am getting my new HID kit (from them) in the mail hopefully early next week.

the low beam looks dull but it throws light super far, its awesome!!! clark peach can attest to how sex the setup was in the mountains at night, was great

I agree I'm looking for a "Clean" set up aswell. I guess anything is better then stock though right?

wine would be really bright if i didnt have black housings... lol
they are still bright enough for me, as i dont do much night driving....
i have the 10000k hids from FLEABAY!
100 buck was well worth it!

i got my 4 hellas if i need to brighten things up!

they are very blue! if you want super bright, get the 6000 or 8000k and they they probably be twice as bright as mine.
the black housings loose alot of light....
