Woohoo. Never heard of those but they sound like a dual filament but halogen. Try them out.
 
So, one last question. Do I need to install an additional inline fuse somewhere or is it literally just plug n play.
I keep reading seemingly negative comments about it "only having 1 fuse for 2 relays" Anything to fret over??
 
Unless they've changed them, the yellow loomed harnesses use fusible links, one each for low and high beam (the short sections of red wire between the ring terminals and the white plug). I removed the links from the plug on mine, and replaced them with ATC fuse holders.

Just got off the phone with LMC.
They say the harness does not have fuses but runs off the OEM headlight harness fuse instead.
I feel I should still install 2 fuses.
Can someone tell me what amp rating the ATCs I will install should be and where I should install them?
I'm thinking in between the battery ring terminals and the white plug.
BTW what is the white plug about????

the white plug I wonder about is just to the right of the relays. I don't get why it's there or what it does.
 
You said you ordered it. Have you received it yet? It should come with instructions. To me, they look like inline fuse holders coming off the power
supply. Who are you calling? It probably is just a distributor that doesn't have a clue. Wait till they come in the mail. It really is a pretty easy install.
 
I'm holding the harness right now.
It did not come with instructions just tags on each connector.
I talked to LMC customer service not a clueless distributor.
He searched his database for any questions or info regarding inlines and found nothing.
He said as far as their info shows, there are no provisions for any fuses and that it uses the factory headlight fuse.
My question was not regarding install. It's pretty straightforward.
It was about if it already had inline fusibles (don't know what they look like) and if it did not as the CS person said,
then how and where to go about adding inline fuses or ATCs.

I"m concerned about safety and would rather not run of the factory headlight fuse.
Looking at the white plug it's just a connector nothing more, no bulge where an inline would be unless the connector is the actual fusible.
I did however do an image search of inline fusible links and after combing 44 pages of them I see nothing that resembles the white connector/plug, hence I ask all ya'll NAXJA guys n gals for advice/perspective.

Edit: just got off the phone with an LMC supervisor. The white plug is just a connector nothing more......so what rating fuse for the ATCs and where do I put them????? Thanks for all your help guys!

Since the power is going from the batt. I would imagine inline with the red wires. I have not installed fuses/breakers in mine. But they are run with relay's so do not see a HUGE problem with fusing otherwise. it is easy to install. The hardest part is routing it. I would recommend pulling the header panel completely if you can.
 
Hey JohnnieWalker, you didn't add any fuses?
I'm only running Silverstar sealed beams so it's more of a safety thing I guess.
Any recommendation on what amp rating the ATC'd fuses should be?

Hey guys, I have stock battery terminals and it looks like I'll crush the power wires if I put them under the 13mm nut due to it being designed to sink in to a hole.
I could flip the nut I suppose but don't want to crush the clamps anymore than they already are lol. I'll do it if suggested, however
s it alright to plug in at the acc terminal on the outside front of the PDC on top of the bat's wire, and if so where's the fuse (if there is one) for that terminal??

I really appreciate everyone's help with this. Just want to do it right.

Hear you on the depression. When you can save up, get the H4 conversion.
I recommend Hella vs. the Ebay crap. You get what you pay for, most of the time. Rallylights.com carries them and they CAN provide knowledgeable help
over the phone. Great guys. You think they are WOW now, try running 80/100's. Glad you got the install completed.
 
Also, if you haven't done so, think of doing a battery cable upgrade. 5-90
on this board builds the best, reasonable pricing, and he can give you any help you need.
 
I don't remember who's version I installed of the harness but nonetheless I have one suggestion. Wherever they have wires crimped together, solder it. I had my headlightlights go out more than once and that is 2 times too many.
