Have a slight predicament

4 or five guys should unload it. how much is the weight?

The weight I figured out for it is about 500-600 pounds.

I found someone with a dock and forklift that is willing to give me a hand on another forum ... I just need to find a engine hoist to borrow now. I dont feel that buying one and returning it is right and I dont have anywhere to store one if I do buy. Rent is an option but they want $25 a day and I am gonna need it for a min of 4 days ... Might as well buy one for that price.

Anyone wanna help out a new RED NAXJA member? :gee:

Do you have a set of ATV ramps? you can put them next to each other and use tow straps to attach them to the bed of the truck so they won't slip off, then slide the engine (assuming it's in a crate) down the ramp they form.

I have a dock you can use in Downtown Dallas and I can then load it in my truck and bring it home with me to Fort Worth, or for gas money I'll bring it to you in Keller.

I have two engine hoists, one at work and one at home but niether of which I can be without. Your welcome to the dock though, PM me if you'd like.

Thank you for the offer. I got it all worked out last night before I saw this. I ended up finding someone with a dock and forklift in my area, another person is loaning me a cherry picker, and I even found a full size pickup to bring it home in.

I cant wait to start puling the old motor. I am so tired of not being able to drive my new truck .... only a matter of time now.
