Hatch mounted tire

Has anyone tried this or similar? I just wonder if its mounted in the hinge holes if it will pull out.

There's another company, HK offroad who makes a kit for 97/01 XJs as well as WJs. Comes with HD struts. Looks decent, as long as your not going off super steep drop offs. I'd hate the permanent blind spot though

I would love to see that sheet metal with a 35 up there after a couple years of wheeling.

If you decide for some insane reason to try it, I hope it's on a daily driver with stock tires.
