Haspin Trail guide needed?--anyone familar with that place?

I've been to Haspin a few times over the years, but not enough to lead anyone. I've always followed. If memory serves, it's a bunch of interconnected trails without any real markings,etc. Oh yeah, and muddy as hell.

We are going February 23rd and 24th. Yeah, I know, 1 week before WF.

The last time I went with a buddy up from Louisville, it was NOT a good experience because some of people thought drinking on the trail was a good idea and were just not what I'd call good trail company.

Anyway, if someone here wants to show how an XJ gets it done and possibly trail lead, let me know.

I'll tell you now, I won't make the TB run. Winterfest will likely be my only outing this year. Maybe a jaunt to Redbird but that'd be it. I'm doing my best to save up so I can make Moab this year.

Indy xj you should consider going to the IFWDA convention in Terra Haute that week end instead. We are going to be wheeling at Redbird on Saturday. This is a strictly invitation only run , open only to those who are participating in the convention. If you are set on going to Haspin try and contact the folks at http://www.fatboysjeepers.com/.
Most of those guys know Haspin very well.

Not especially. I got banned a while back for asking the admn/owner/whatever about the scam he was running on the APN's. I was actually in the market for a header at the time. Turns out he was doing the same with rockrails. Claiming that he manufactured all of it himself. In reality, he was just ordering it, and shipping it back out for major profit. There was a big stink about it on JF when it all happened. Bunch of BS it was,.... I'd rather not deal with people like that. As far as I know, he never did own up to it. If he did, I didn't see it. I could care less now though.:wave1: Just not my kind of people.

I still pop in over there every once in a blue moon, just to see what's going on.
