Well, lemme start from the beginning.
I was stuck in a mud hole. Wasn't too deep, but the stock shovel on my 06' Rubicon had dug into the ground and high centered the Rubi. Long story short the TJ wouldn't budge. Some guy in a stock(ish) Grand Cherokee tried to pull it out by just hooking and tugging, no luck. So he backed up and wanted to take a run and go at it.....

Before I could tell him to stop he jerked all the slack out of the tow line and it pulled the nuts through the frame, bent the bumper, and the openings on the stock tow hook (driver's side) is now straight up. :bawl: Not to mention the fog light...but I have a set of Hella 500's to fix that. My concern is...I'll have to get this part of the frame cut out and another piece of metal welded in won't I? I hate to do that (The Rubi is about three months old now), but if that's what it takes I'll have it done. I'm replacing the stock bumper soon enough...but a winch and mounting plate is first. No more guys trying to jerk it out...I'll just have someone park in front of me and I'll pull myself out!!! It took a F350 Crew Cab Dualie Diesel to get her out. :roflmao: Stuck is an understatement!!!
So...has anyone heard of this before and what are your opinions?
