Has anyone done this: 4 Door Comanche?

I am thinking about making a 4 door Comanche out of my 87 MJ and 89 XJ. My 89 XJ has great drivetrain and runs great, but the body is rough. My 87 MJ is near perfect body wise, but the engine(2.5L) is not right.
I would like to cut the Cherokee through the rear door opening and cut the MJ through the door opening and put the two together. I would have to modify the rear doors and streach the drive shaft. I know there would be a ton of work involved, but I have a great shop and all the tools needed.
What I am wondering is has anyone else done this? If so, any pictures or web sites?
The Jeep is not my current daily driver and so time would not be a big factor.

Someone posted one they had done a while back. I cant remember who exactly, but it loooked gooood. kinda like a super crew pick-up.

So am I reading you right that you want to add to the MJ to make a 4-door? Most folks that do this seem to take the back off the XJ instead. There are a few of them around here, look for terms like Cheromanche or....

Ive been researching and studying this also. Got an 87 XJ and an 86 MJ im thinkin bout using to do this build. Ive got a few pics of a maroon 4 door MJ and pics of a red 4 door MJ. Lemmie know if ya want the pics and Ill shoot em to ya unless someone is willing to post them for me.

There's a guy in Massachusetts who is building exactly what you have in mind right now.
