I put the jumper cables on the wrong terminals once and lit the wiring harness on fire.

lol I did the same thing. but I instaled the batt in backwards and lit the alternator on fire!
I bought a Rustang once that had the black/red terminals on the battery reversed. I couldn't figure out why it kept sparking when I hooked up the cables, but I really wish that car had burnt.
Also, Stefan, looks good, but are you going to add another support farther back along the slider?

yes, but in the interest of time im not doing it untill last or after nacfest. lol its crunch time baby!
cause it will interfere with the show bar. and I dont have time to figure a way around it. Im sure it will last one trip.
and thats exaztly what happened to me with the mj. the terminals on my optima were reversed shit kept sparking also one terminal is bigger that the other to help keep stupid people from doing what i was tring to do.
"why wont this fit" so I pounded the terminal on with a hammer. that when I noticed the smoke.

Well if the xjs not done the MJ is definitely getting wheeled. The xj wont be forgotten. I need it for moab.
That being said if the xj doesent make nacfest would you be down for a day trip down to rc before october. I really want to get a good shakedown run with it before moab. I dont want a repeat of last nacfest but 3000 miles from home.
