How did you cut the factory sheet metal so you don't see it behind the larger wheel openings? 2 door XJ will help, but they are going on an MJ.

Not talking about the full bed side replacements, those will not work in my application.

mine is cut a little more than most would call sane but this is a toy I don't have to worry about class restrictions :D

I bought it as is the way you see it in the picture 3 months ago, it's sitting in my garage waiting for me to find a pile of money to throw at it :D

Looks like it might take more then one pile. Im thinking several. :-)

you're probably right Larry, at least the cage work is half way done. it's further along than the other XJ I was building so for what I paid for it buying this one was a no brainer. I have a place to keep it in doors indefinately so I can afford to hang onto it and see what happens :D

only thing going on this from my other XJ is the coilovers and the front glass fenders. this one is getting linked and beams, with a v8 :eyes:

Here's where I cut mine but I only cut it there to clear the tire and I really haven't finished it up cleanly yet...

nice rig, i like the safety block on that floor jack

Yep safety first lol. I was only tightening the coil over nut up so it was legit :) . I do wish I would have cut the upper rear portion round instead of squared off tho. It's a good spot for a crack to start now the way I did it.

Yeah....I always worry about blocks of wood on jacks when all 4 tires are still on the ground with a truck. hahahahaha
