Had to chuckle a little......

So, I get a phone call from a chapter member with a new-to-him dually. Could be anybody right? :shhh:

"Hey, gimme a call when you get this message. We're headed down to the 'Springs and I blew a tire - I don't have a spare...... hoping you can help me out."

Got the message about an hour after he'd left it, but called and he said someone took him to a tire store and he got the tire replaced.

Had to chuckle at the fact that he left the truck on the side of the road to get the tire fixed/replaced because he didn't have a spare.......... :laugh:

And if YOU don't get why this is humorous......... you need to wear a skirt. :D

Nope, it's all very true......... and I'm sorry, maybe I'm an a-hole for doing it, but it was just too good NOT to post up about. :D

its just funny he always calls you for help even tho you always put him on blast on here...i dont get it..you must secretly be nice to the kid

Let me guess..... bought a dually to haul a 10 speed bicycle? :D

Well he has the ability to laugh at himself (gotta appreciate that about him) so I can't imagine he'd get emo over this.......

And I feel I can use material like this as a form of re-payment for dragging me and my rig out into the fawkin' mud a few months back for no good reason..... :D

I asked him why he didn't just rotate a tire up front and drive to get the tire fixed....... "I'm kinda new a the dually thing. The rears only have 45 lbs in them. Didn't think that was safe up front." Yeah, I wouldn't go hitting 80 mph on the highway at that psi, but woulda been just fine for an unloaded truck to get off the road with at 55 in the right lane.

The door jamb says the rears should all be run at 45 each... so I did :dunno:

not towing anything sure...50psi willwork fine...if you get a load on that ie a trailor with jeep or something bump em to 75 so once hot they will be right around 80-82 depending...
air up front to match rear or itll handle all goofy...
those are ten plies on there right?

dang I thought it was Flores
:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

OMG

BTW went by Tips shop and welded(rewelded) the rear end that Flores welded two days ago. Looked like a welding class fluncky had welded it on his first day!
