Sorry to nitpick, but here's my question. Any lower amount for countersinking for the rear lower 1/4s only as it's a 66% upcharge as it stands now. I know you're trying to keep everything as simple as possible, but $50 + buying all the hardware jumps the cost on what was turning out to be a great deal into just a good deal.

not quite sure I understand. The hardware shouldn't cost more than a few bucks.

The cost of countersinking I gave burntkat was for a set. If you are just wanting lower rear 1/4s it would be 5.00 not 20.00. I am going to work out little details on things like that with each individual customer at the time of payment. Good question! Thanks Chris

Folks-- if you want to express interest or order a set, PLEASE post it in this thread. If you want to lock in on a set <confirm you will buy> please email me at the gmail.com address above.

My PM box is full-- I can not guarantee I'll catch your order if you PM me. I don't mean to be a stickler here, I just want to make sure everyone that wants a set is able to get 'em. ;)

8 confirmed buyers in less than 16 hours, so far. 3 days to go!

r u replying to the emails you receive just as a confirmation?

yep. Nothing more than a "got it. Thanks"

so-- if you sent me an email and haven't gotten a response, PM me.

Folks-

while it is VERY polite to email me and let me know that you have to bail out of buying-- it's not necessary.

I'm only counting as serious buyers, those folk who email me. 12 of you have replied so far, and thanks for it.

Let's make Caged a busy man, shall we? ;)

Sorry I'm gonna have to bail for now...I picked up a waggy44 for the front of my
xj.Gotta focus my attention on it for now. Thanks for all of your hard work!!

I hear ya, man. I've got one in the back yard, waiting for a mate so I can do front and rear at the same time.

Would appreciate a PM with your plans for that axle-- where are you getting brackets from, etc. I'm going to build my own. I can always benefit from another brain on the same project working out the kinks, though....

<for one thing, I've moved my lower shock mounts to my control arm-- greatly simplifying the bracket-building for the front axle>

i'd be interested too.

all the info you need is in this thread, Bigg. Time to decide if you're serious, and follow directions above. ;)

ohyeah-- 15 confirmed buyers at this point...

For those of you who've already emailed me to confirm to buy:

you will be getting replies today for clarification if I have any questions about your order.

If you don't get an email from me asking a question-- dont worry about it-- it means I know what I need for the spreadsheet. Please don't email me as it'll only muck up the works <I'musing Gmail for a reason- their email labeling system makes this a heck of a lot easier to sort out>.

Along similar lines-- if you get an email from me asking questions-- please reply to that email, quoting it if possible, and DO NOT change the subject line-- that way it'll all archive together and make this a heckofa lot easier to sort out...

I do appreciate everyone's patience with this. We're nearing the end, and I estimate I'll have the data compiled by Sunday early morning <I work Saturday at the lab and there'll be noone there ;) >, and I'd probably give Chris a couple days to get his emails out to you folks requesting payment. So, if you don't hear from Chris asking for money by, say, Wednesday, email me at the gmail address with a phone number. I'll call you, see which order is yours, and then call Chris and see if he's already sent an email out to you.

Good enough?

BTW- for our Canadian friend that PMed me: pricing is discussed in this thread <ya gotta read the whole thread, folks-- all the answers are right there, I swear!!>, and noone knows what shipping will be like till they get the request for payment from Chris. <For me, coming from Colorado Springs, CO to Charleston, SC <roughly halfway across the US> a full set of lower guards was about $25 to ship. Now, add in international taxes, duties, and fees, and I haven't a clue..... sorry!

I am still in for six (6) piece lower door set for a 99 XJ (no rear lower quareters). I am still confused as to steel and/or aluminum? I know steel is available, is aluminum also available?

AL is available. it is also much weaker.

Please email my username @gmail.com with your confirmation, as directed above. You wouldn't want to put your phone number and email address in the clear here for anyone to spam, would ya?.

4 door "doors only" is 110.00 for the standard set. Price break down is on page 7

Now that I have my XJ done... for the most part I am starting on the Group buy pieces in advance to try and cut the ship time. Here is a couple pics of my revised ride.

Hey CagedXJ, is it possible to get a set of these that extend to cover the entire rear tail lights? I have seen something similar before, but can't find a link for them right now (may not have been your product). I have a 95XJ and no longer have lower rear quarters.

I have sent in my order for a door set already.
