Sorry to hear about your job. Although not to sound rude but Im glad they actually in-force that law. Seriously like its not well enough posted "Keep right except to pass". Pisses me off to no end to have to pass people in the right lane. BUT the fact that there were no other cars on the road and you weren't hindering anyone I don't think you should have gotten a ticket. I think a warning would have sufficed.


Now a strange thing in Oregon They have 2 different signs. "Keep right except to pass" and "Slower traffic keep right". If you were in an area that was posted the latter then fight it and win. If there was no traffic then you werent the slower traffic.

My girlfriend just got told the army is not letting her platoon come home for X-mas, wow good thing I spent 870 bucks on the non refundable plane tickit that's booked for the 17th.

There are wacky traffic laws up here.... U-turns are illegal... no real right of way at a 4 way stop.. just be a courteous drivers.. bah..

Uturns are legal in OR and Wash as long as you don't disrupt traffic or there is a sign posted saying not to. At least the last time I checked it was I could be wrong wouldn't be the first time.

Have you tried talking to the airlines? They are normally pretty good about stuff like this, maybe at least get a credit.

Thanks man, but I'm not a big drinker. A few of my buddys and I are going out now to drive in the snow.

Yeah, they will give a non transferable credit. I don't like to travel and its in my girlfriends name. I paid for it with my card but it has to stay in her name. o well have to find somewhere to go.
