Is this a product you are selling? Direct bolt in HP 44s?

Just coming from someone doing a HP44 swap right now, having a 44 housing that take 30 unit hubs and brakes is a terrible idea, in fact it was already done before on the rubicon.
It defeats two of the biggest advantages of going 44, bigger brakes and manual locking hubs.

I have had no problems with brakes on my XJ before. I realize its not a Corvette, and dont drive it like one. I have never had an issue with stopping on any terrain offroad either. As for the hub thing, well thats another can of worms I wont get into because everyone has theyre own opinion, MY opinion (and we all know what opinions are like) Is they are plenty strong, but then again IF I had a failure I might think different. I am not saying its not possible, but I have not seen one myself, where I saw it happen. Just one for the FWIW pile. As for building a Ford HP 44...They are rather hard to find one without the cast tubes, at least here in AZ. AND they are not a direct bolt in. Just thought I would share.

I would like a frt 44 for one reason, lower available gearing. I've never had a problem w/ the unit hubs. Simpler to service, easier to swap shafts if you have to. D30 outer can easily be swapped for WJ parts and you get brakes equivalent to 1/2 ton stuff.

I wouldn't say it's a terrible idea at all.
Unit bearings are bullet proof & don't stick out at all.
D30 brakes are easily upgradable to WJ junk, which I ran for a few years & cannot tell any difference between my old WJ brakes & my new 44 brakes.

Are they "Camping Approved"?

They are selling for 1299.00 + shipping, which is about 245.00. Customers who buy these from me will also get the chance to purchase a set of Alloy USA front shafts for 600.00 a set. All of the knuckles, brakes and bearings from your 30 will go right on.
