Heading up to HV/Frazier park area to play around in the mud/snow this Sunday, rain or shine. If you would like to meet us up there we should be there around 10 am and will go by the obstacle course area to see if anyone is there. Got to take advantage of this weather while it is here.

HV sounds like fun, I may decide to go, will have to see what the parentals say tho.
Had a blast and here are a few pictures from todays run. Started as 5
from Fillmore McD's, Me(XJ), Doug(XJ), John(CJ), Igor(Liberty - taht
did great!)(new to group), and Paul(YJ)(also from our group, but was
going up solo then decided to tag along with us, great guy by the
way). We went in Smokey Bear road to the obstacle course and meet up
with Scott(XJ)(SOCALXJ) and Al(ZJ)(From Simi). Played around a little
bit at the obstacle course area and had to get out the strap as
someone did not get to far in the water hole, Name starts with "J"
and it was not me
Well from there we went out Smokey Bear, main
gate to HV was closed due to ice and snow, to gas up at Flying J and
go look for snow. Our now group of Seven turned to 8 as we meet a
gentlemen in an Xterra and headed up to Cherry Canyon(?). Well on the
way there John noticed a vib and decided to turn back as he busted a
Ujoint. We kept rolling and met up with Danny(4Runner) and 3 others
(4Runner, PU, Cruiser) from GC Cruisers. They said there was not much
snow up there and invited us to go to Bear Camp with them. Never have
been there before we decided to follow. Group was now 11 and as GCC
fueled up John finished the Drive shaft and we headed out. Xterra had
to leave home from here. We hit rain and finally found about 4-6" of
snow at the camp. All in all it was great day for wheelin' and we
meet some great people as well. Enjoy...
