Good junkyards

How about a thread like the places to wheel that lists good junkyards? I would love to find some good U-pull-it types close but no luck so far.

BTW, for anyone who doesn't use it www.car-part.com is a great locator service for parts.

Anyway I will list my first and favorite, Johnsons Auto Recylcers in Ashevile.

Not the cheapest, but they are well organized, stand behind thier stuff, and grade it well.

try a web/google search for Pull-a-part, i know there are a few around the southeast, maybe 1 is nearby you, the deals are good-- if you can find the parts you want/need..

you can use the pull-a-part search engine to search what vehicles they have in there current inventory,
But it can't tell you what actual parts the vehicle has left on it (nor can the employees at the yard) you'll just have to go in and look for yourself

Heck. I'll have about 6 parts xj's in north central georgia at my new shop by the time I get done moving junk up there. How far are you from murphy?
