So i did a engine swap a while back and after numerous coolent troubles i stopped adding expensive coolent and added more adn more water, so guess what happened when it was 13 degrees the other day. So i dont have a garage and i need a garge in the Hampton Roads area that can swap my 4.0. im pretty sure its just the head, blows exsessive white smoke so thick you can see out the windows, and the engine bay fills up with smoke. Im sure, its the head/ gasket. but i cant see anything cause it fills up so quickly with smoke. Any help would be great. Thanks guys!

I've had Roger Bress do work for me in the past when I'm up against deadlines and cannot get to things in time. I'd trust him with anything I need done for me or for anyone else-- as honest as them come. He doesn't work cheap, but when he gives something back to you, you don't have to worry about "if it was done right" or "what else did they break while they were in there" type of problems.

There are other options around town, but I will always start with who I'm most comfortable recommending-- check with them and let me know if you want to go cheaper routes (of course the comfort levels often decrease with the cost)

i have an estimate from Ricks car care over behind Janaf. He has a real clean shop and said he did one just a month ago. a grand plus the 600 engine from Newport news. but ill give you guy a call first thing in the morning
