Goferit flip

I just bought the zj steering upgrade from Gerroffroad, and I was wondering if I can run the drivers side tierod OTK with Goferit Flip.

So you're wanting to keep the passenger side tierod UTK and have the driver's side OTK?

Yes that is what the Goferit insert does. I just want to make sure it can be done with the ZJ upgrade.

Be more specific on your "ZJ" upgrade...........you mean tierods or knuckles?

I just looked at what you're talking about with the metal tapered insert and nut. It says it's tapered to accept stock tie rods and the ZJ upgrade is a direct swap so I don't see why the TRE wouldn't fit. You would be best to move both ends above the axle but I don't think the ZJ tie rod is a straight piece so might run into problems there.

I bouight the ZJ steering upgrade from Gerroffroad. This is a complete system, Drag link, long tierod for pass side, 2 adjuster sleeves and 2 outer tie rods. No knuckles, using the stock XJ knuckles.

Yes You can run the drivers side over the knuckle with the Goferit insert.. You should have had Dan @ GERR get you the RHD drag link and done both over the knuckle, then relocate your trackbar... It works a hell of a lot better that way..

It'll work..........you have to flip the tierod, end for end. (adjuster at the draglink)

If you flip the driver's side, the tierod is going to hit the sway bar bracket.
The bracket needs to be cut off and replaced with a taller one.
