It is now 102 F, right now in Houston, and it is barely June!:flame:

It is usually August before we hit 100 F here, if it even gets too 100 F that year.

Now at 103 F!!!!! She's gonna blow!!!

We hit an all time record high for Houston yesterday, two months early, of 105 F!

We haven't even come close to 100 yet, and usually it's over 100 by mid May. :dunno: Maybe God just hates TX and is cursing you guys with all the global warming. :D

Parts of the area recieved over 1" of rain this past weekend and chains were required over Donner Summit Monday morning. Yep climate change is real.

Yesterday was a new all time record high for June, 104 F, both days about 7-8 degrees above prior all time records.

Today we had a hint of rain and an Ozone alert!

Currently 82 with a projected high of 86. We're normally above 100 by now.

We have been under an outdoor burn ban for nearly 2 months now due to no rain for about 2 months. WE are about 20 inches of rain behind normal for Houston now. Grass on the lawns looks like a dust bowl, Arizona style.

I guess that is why they renamed it climate change. These huge swings in the weather patterns are going to, and already have, played hell with farming and crops.

I hate this weather we are having out here in CA.I want to go on runs but it is always hot this time of year, but we have hit 100 a couple of times and thats been it. I would hate to setup a run to have it hit over a 100 and be in these canyons with no air flow.We don't get rain till late july early august, then it is only for a couple of min. I hope you guys over there get some rain soon, i know you all need it.

I heard last week that Galveston was having black outs because of power drains in the power lines. Seems the lack of rain has built up salt deposits on the power lines insulation, and it is causing a parasitic power draw or loss that is overloading the power plants during peak usage at the record highs for cooling. They said they need rain to solve the problem.
