Where to start.... I'm old guard so to speak. I joined NAXJA back in the day when there was no SE Chapter. The club only had about 250 members and was on a much different board. Over the years I have seen a lot of people come and go. I like to lay back and watch and advise on how I have seen it done in the past. I don't however sit there and expect it to be done my way. I love this place plain and simple and have meet some great friends here. I want to see it grow and become the best chapter in the NAXJA universe. I feel like Ed has done a jam up job on the chapter and the events. Mark took the finances and made some money so that we can actually get some good things going and give back to the membership. I think we really complement each other and mesh well to make this chapter grow. I have twin boys and if you attend the Crawl you will hear one of my sons smack talking my driving. I started with an 84 xj in 02 attending the Crawl in Tellico. I built it up over 5 years wheeling the Crawl every year. This last Crawl was my 8th consecutive crawl. I now wheel a 94 xj on tons and dual t-cases and 42's. I try to do what is best for the club. If I need to lead a ride instead of going on one I'm willing to do it so that the most members that show up can get the most out of our events. The last 2 years have been a financial strain for me and my jeeping. Going wheeling has been on the back burner for me because of that. We have seen a lot of wheeling changes in the SE and with the closing of Tellico I think we will see a lot more. I have wheeled in AL, TN, NC, KY, and SC. I hope to continue to help the club that has helped me SO much. Feel free to ask away I will answer as best I can.
