Getting email notifications late or not at all.

I know, dead horse. But I get them a day late or sometimes not at all. Any suggestions?

My spam filter is off too.

I get notifications in minutes or less.

I'm getting none of these to include others. How would the isp affect it? I got high speed cable internet (charter) , yahoo email which all have been good to me.

The problem is Yahoo. They apparently don't know how to run mail services.
