Yea hey man i've seen you on Southern Jeeps i like your rig man that how i want to be like in the future. Im going wheelin friday. We are meeting at 4WP on cobb parkway at 2:30 if you want to tag along. The more we have the better i guess. But PM is you plan on coming so i know to wait for you or not.
 
Well its got a variety of stuff such as some hill climbs, got some rocks, a small amount of mud some creek crossing, got some big mud pits if you want em. Its a well rounded place.You'd like i think.

I don't have pics of the jeep yet, but we're going to Tellico the weekend of June 4th, 5th, &6th. I know marietta is a decent drive from Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, but we're having a club meeting at the hooters there on June 1st.

I just got into offroading so I'm still learning and still building. Currently I have a 96 XJ, 4.5" RE w/spacers up front and shackles in the rear. Total lift of 6" on 33's
 
hey i should be able to make that meeting, is it alright if i just tow my junk up there? its not exactly street legal, if not i'll just drive the tow rig. i'm always up for seein some HOOTERS and eatin some wings :D
 
that's cool, I don't know if I'll be in the jeep or not either. Did you have a black XJ a few years ago? I met a few of the RebelRockRunners probably 2 years ago in Tellico. My little brother has a green TJ w/D60's on 38.5 swampers.

Anyway, hope to see you at the hooters. Maybe you guys can go to Tellico too, there's going to be a photographer going on the trip, but I don't know what magazine he's with.
 
yea i used to have a black one. hmm interesting, i might have to make it up to tellico to get some photo ops :D yea i should be up there regardless of whether or not i have the jeep, but i'll try to bring it.

most everyone in the club right now just graduated from college and is started on getting their junk built, andrew parted out the wag and is building a tube buggy at the moment, i think i'm the only one with a wheelable rig right now :D
 
Sounds like a good time its a little early in the month for me to be going still have a few mods i gotta do before i hit up tellico. Im thinkin about joining Southern Jeeps. We are going up to Windrock in late june my rig will be ready then but yea. Hey up for rocks me and some buddies are going wheeling friday at 2:30 if you want to come it might be a long drive for ya. BUt we are meeting at the 4WP on cobb parkway at 2:30 and leaving from there to do some local wheelin. PM if you can come or something.
 
I'd like to go, but I gotta work until 6. You should try to go to tellico, there's going to be a few of us "smaller" rigs that will group together. The lift and tires are really all i have right now. I'm still running stock axles and no lockers.
 
yea me too. Skids are coming into today and im getting my sliders made by PORC once i get those installed i'll probly try tellico. BUt i don't have the money for axles and lockers yet. IM getting front bumper and winch. Then a cage for the inside and then i might think about going for bigger axles and lockers.
 
what kinda bumper you going to run? My bro made one for a 2dr XJ. He made one of the prerunner style bumbers. I'll try to get some pics.
 
I guess I'm a little late for the ride, but anyway I reside in Kennesaw. I drive a 95 Sport with RE 5.5" Extreme Duty, 33" BFG MTRs, BPI front bumper, and Bushwacker Flares. I'd be interested in getting to know some of you guys. Let me know next time ya'll are meeting up!!
 
alright yea man i would like to meet you sometime i've got some trails we can go on. What do you like do? Mud, rocks, hills.... im open i do it all or atleast try. BUt i have aim i'll talk to ya on there.
 
We are going to alatoona to some wheeling on Thursday. We are meeting at the woodstock Home Depot at 10:30 AM and leaving from there. We will wheeling until around two or three. If you want to tag along thats cool. If you have AIM get on tonight or PM if you plan coming so i know if you are coming and to wait for you.
 
I was up at altoona last weekend rescuing my buddys swamped 97on 33s, his enngine died in the middle of a pit than when try to start it back up his starter went out., needless to say i had to pull him probably 3 miles outta the woods, with out him having any power steering or brakes.Lots of those pits are very decieving, so if your goin to the trails off exit 290 on 75 watch out! :scottm:
