I know it's not an XJ, but someone who loves Jeeps might like to add this one to their collection...
This has been my project for over 4 years. Lots of heart, soul, money, blood, and time have been spent repairing and modifying this ’78 CJ-7. The engine is still strong after 110,000 miles as well as the drive train. There are few minor repairs needed (e.g. horn needs replacing and the emergency brake is broken), however, she’s strong and ready for the trails while being road friendly. See below for the details.
• 304 V-8
• Holley 4160 4 bbl carb
• Edlebrock Manifold
• Edlebrock cam
• K&N Filter
• T-150 transmission with Dana 20 transfer
• Scout Dana 44 front and rear axle with 4.10 gears (Detroit Locker in the rear, front is open)
• 4” Skyjacker springs with custom outboarded hangers with Deotsch 3000s all around
• Daystar (front) and Con-Ferr (rear) greasable shackles
• SS front brake lines
• Converted power steering system with M.O.R.E. HD bracket and brace
• Borgeson steering shaft
• Blazer heater blower motor conversion
• 2” Body lift
• Warn front bumper with hoop
• Warn rear bumper w/ spare tire carrier (modified to mount gas can and Hi-Lift)
• Warn X8000i winch
• Hi-Lift jack
• Warn rockers
• 33X15X12.5 Goodyear MT/Rs (including spare)
• 15X8 Black Rockcrawler rims (including spare)
• Herculined tub
• Custom made center console (ammo can)
• 4-core radiator
• Dual electric fan setup for engine
• Optima Red top battery
• Rubicon Express Hand throttle
• “Imitation” Corbeau Baja seats w/ RCI 5-point harness belts (red material)
• Full rollbar cage
• NEW Hedman Headers (in frame exit) with Flowmasters.
• 2 year old Black Bestop soft-cover, to include doors (clear windows)
The Jeep is located in Augusta, GA and will help/assist with delivery.
