FYI Saw a 2 Door XJ 4 sale $1500

Bwwwahahahahaha!!!

It's true, custom rides like this suffer a horrible, undignified fate. I have examples...if I can bear to post them.

DJ don't look! You'll have nightmares........ :D

WTF..............................

Poor thing...Before the phrase "Rice" was coined, there was...

FIBERGLASS

GONE

BAD!!!!

Those stick-on accessories are just a gateway plastic: A little here, a little there, it's fun!. Before you realize the damage you are causing, you wind up like this poor wretch; mocked to your miserable end.

Ok....... That's a Buick Skylark, '70 - '72 era and quite possibly a true Gran Sport, or a Skylark with a factory GS hood..... that should be punishable by lynching!

.......... and there's probably hood vents on that LeBarron convertible next to it! :banghead:

In reverse order:
No vents on the LeBarron

A high school buddy used to drive his mom's '70 GS. If this was ever a GS or faster, the induction parts are long gone. The hood vents on this one were hand made, as was the spoiler.

In this case, it truely would have been been better to burn out than suffer this undignified end. It is at Western if you have to gawk...long block is still there.

Ah, right you are Mike - at first glance, those scoops looked factory but I googled some pics of actual GS hoods and yeah, not a factory hood.

...... I was about to go out there and snatch it up though.... :D
