Fuel filler hose shield rusted out

Just installed RC's shackle relocators and found the shield that protects the fuel filler hose to the tank is rusted out. Local yards don't have one. Any body know where I could pick one up?

I took my out a long while back and haven't noticed any ill effects...

yea, mine's been gone for a while. the only benefit i can really see of having it there is protection from people cutting it to syphon your tank if you have a locking cap.

It's just tin, so maybe you should just make one.

As Matthew said it's a real simple piece of sheet. I'd just go to Lowes and get some 18g, and put a new one together. It's about four or six bends max. If you really want to cheap out just re-create the part that's missing and pop-rivet it in place.

thanks for the responses. I picked one up for under 20 bucks including shipping. I don't mind fabbing, just wanted an easy fix so I can continue my little build.
