FS: 2001 XJ Northwest Chicago

I have a buddy that is going to sell his XJ due to having his family growing to large. It is an 01 with the miles around 85K. It is in good shape and has had no repairs, just replacment of wear and tear items like brakes and tires. Might be a ding or two and a spot of rust or two but nothing serious from what he has told me. It has never been off-road and has stock everything with a few add-ons. He was thinking around 8K. The timing for me is bad, but if it was better I would buy it myself. If only I had more warning.

Here's his description of it:

It's got 80500 miles on it now. Michelin LTX M/S P225/75R-15 tires new from 71,000 miles.

Brakes all around have also been replaced through Midas, but that actually was further back then I thought. Everything else is essentially original. I am also the original owner. It's a Sport and Patriot Blue in color, 4.0 and automatic. I have a Jeep brand rear cargo mat and a Raingler cargo net that is included if you like. Non smoker vehicle in overall good condition. I have all service records for the Jeep available.
