I got a transmission out of a jeep I am parting.
Previous owner said it ran and drove fine, but I didn't witness it.

I see there are two other transmissions for sale in here so it seems there is not much of a market for them.

But just in-case someone needs one on the cheap side.

complete, bell housing, torque converter, NSS, TCU... dip stick.
mount, cross member and bolts if you want them too

Talk to Jordan :anon: I'm pretty sure he's the only other guy on here who has actually killed one.

His is working right now (quite nicely in fact)... but it can't hurt to have a spare, right?!

My theory is that mine has not fully given up the ghost because my jeep knows I am ready to tear it apart and fix it if it does.

Alright, well I will PM you before I scrap it for the metal.

I am assembling my scrap piles and separating steel and aluminum and I really don't want to scrap this perfectly good trans, but three months on craigslist, and a long time on here, has no one interested in it. When I parted out the 99, I thought for sure this puppy would sell quickly especially since there have been other aw4's on CL and other places listed for $200 I figured someone would pick this up for $50 or something..

I got two calls, and one no show to pick it up...

I don't know if that is worth the hassle?

ups will cost bout $120 and I am not familiar if there are other ways of cheaply shipping auto parts... but this thing weighs like 100+ pounds.

I would really prefer local pickup, cause its really easy for me to chuck it on a scrap pile and get a couple bucks for the metal.. And I am not a huge fan of shipping sit.
