Hey gents, I have a buddy back home who's interested in selling his XJ, so I thought I'd post it here to help him out. He's located in Belvidere if anyone is interested in taking a look at it. It's a '92, and if I recall, it has around 240k on it, but you can verify that with him. I bought it from a guy in the burbs and had it for awhile, then sold it to my buddy when I moved to AZ. I was told that it had some motor work done before I got it, but can't guarantee that. It did run like a raped ape, so I figured the guy was honest about it. It does have a 3" lift, and the fenders were trimmed. It's in semi-rough shape, but he said it's running and driving good for the most part, just needs an alternator(burnt it up in the mud, lol) and the brakes are squishy. It's gettin' a little rusty and has some dents and scrapes, but the only other major thing with the body is the driver's door and window. The hinge for the door broke a few times after being "repaired" so the door was temporairily welded shut(ie - the top corner by the hinge was supported to the fender, and the door was locked to stay closed), and he dented the door in and broke the window playing around at the Cliffs the last time we went out wheelin' before I moved. Overall, the Jeep was pretty reliable when I had it, and could be again with very little work. It has pretty much sat for the last 2 years, and he'd like it gone pretty soon because he's moving next month.
