FRONT lower shock mounts

Its come time for me to relocate my shock mounts. I want to do something similar to this

My lower control arms are boxed with i think 3/16. Would 1/8 be enough for something like this? Not building jeepspeed, just a crawler, will see a little fast stuff down fire roads and such but thats about it.

1/8" would work assuming all your bump stops are all set but I would recomment buying a finished bracket from someone like PolyPerformance out of 3/16".

I was thinking of buying shock tabs from ruffstuff. Would the supports be fine in 1/8? It would still add a good bit of strength all boxed in
