front end suggestions

I've considered toyota springs for the MJ multiple times. The problem you'll face on the MJ though is getting the shackle hanger far enough back. It's already all the way at the back of the chassis. You can hang the front springs further up, but also take into account how long of a shackle you'll need etc. I say go for it, Toyota springs float around all day long on RDC / DR. If they don't work, flip them.

thats the same as ive been thinking...

ive even been thinking cutting the shackle out of the back of the xj and making my own shackle mount in my cage so i can still run a 12" tc shackle and at that point if i needed to move the shackle back i could maybe like an inch lol...

well i just got off the phone with giant motorsports... dude what a class act place. any ways ive been looking into the giant 64" kit. that thing looks bad ass... what we came up with is i need 5" between the outside frame rail and inside tire for the 64 kit to work.

im goin to do some measuring tonight when im over there. we both seem to think that this will work. they said that a 9" shackle would most likely work better as they do on the explorers also they are only like a 3" lift spring so them being spring under and a 3" spring that should be fine on paper for an xj

Damn, that will be the first 64 on a XJ for sure!! What is the satus on the Beams? Its gonna kick but with the Beam setup!

i dont think i can front the money to make a beam setup happen... sad faces hahaha.. i think im gonna end up with 62" deavers anyhow i have a decent deal inline for them sooo... this also means my xj deavers will be forsale i believe g9

also i was thinking about the(back to the front end thing) would a full width front axle be too wide any one have a measurement of say a dana 44 full width? wms to wms
