Front driveshaft grease

I have Oliver’s driveshafts front and back and there about 1 year old. I’m assuming as I have narrowed down the squeak that the front drive shaft cv is squeaking, on my double cardone shaft I have a flat head screw that I can take out is that where I would use a grease needle once removed? Also the ball seal is missing a chunk..

is there a little divot / ball in the center of the screw? that would be the grease point, push the ball down with the tip of the needle and push grease through

Honestly didn’t know that I went out and tried but the needle I have is like a doctors needle and it didn’t go in I felt needle push ball in but it didn’t go in

The tip of the needle just pushes the ball down a little, then grease comes out the tip and goes through the gap

Yea hate what I thought, almost like it needs a seal or more pressure behind it

If you have the room, you can always unscrew the flat fitting and put in a normal zerk long enough to pump some grease in.

Also the ball seal is missing a chunk..

I am going to guess your seal looks like mine did. FWIW, it seems the correct name for that seal is a "slinger".
