Front CV DS, What years???

Hey looking for a front cv drive shaft, for a buddy, what years had them???

Because of differing use of terminology, I have to ask you to clarify what YOU mean by "CV."

The original XJs back in '84 and for a couple of years thereafter used a true constant velocity joint -- the so-called "beer can on a popsicle stick" -- on the front drive shaft. Then they changed to using a double cardan joint. But many people insist on calling a double cardan joint a "CV' joint.

So ... which are you looking for?
