36mm and a loooooong cheater bar or strong impact gun

get a deep 36mm so that you can use it for GM cars too

36mm has always worked for me... have one in my toolbag for this reason.
I've never had a problem removing these, even with just a breaker bar. Once it pops for the first time they generally come off easily.
If you already removed the tires and the thing keeps spinning, shove an extension bar through the u-joint yoke so it collides with the inner c / knuckle. If you removed the axle from the vehicle already, put a wheel on the side you're removing (without hub cap), toss a couple lug nuts on it loosely, sit on the tire, and haul on the breaker bar.
