Stuff I need to get rid of:
- 258 short block from an '86CJ 80K miles supposedly running good when pulled in favor of a FI 4.0l. I got this with the intension of using the crank in a stroker motor but plans have changed, I no longer need this. It still has the pan installed as well as the front cover, cylinder walls look ok just dusty from sitting.
- Blown 4.0 short block from a '90XJ. This thing broke a rod and put a hole in the block, but was still running (not very well) when pulled. Not sure if anything is usable here, would make a great boat anchor though!
- Non H.O. 4.0 Head (pre '91, Renix) it's still on the block (see above) but shouldn't have been hurt when the rod let go. It has 163K miles so it would probably be best to have a valve job done on it, it was running great though up until the rod let go.
- Radiator from a '90 XJ. In good shape, no leaks and never overheated even when under load. I just went ahead and upgraded to the post '91 cooling system while I was changing the engine, so I don't need this anymore. This is a 2 core radiator, I also have some of the other parts I pulled when doing the conversion if you want them.
I will not ship any of this stuff, you have to come get it. I do need to get it off of the trailer that it is sitting on so if it is not gone by next week I will haul it off to the junk yard. Hope this stuff can help someone out.
