What would be the effects of not having an instant center? I am aware of the effects of where you place the instant center in relation to the center of gravity, but what would happen if the bars were parallel?
It seems to me it would either do absolutely nothing (behave like a leaf spring with the anti squat relying on the springs themselves and the anti lift relying on the shocks).....
-OR- it would behave like a monster, it would have so much leverage on the chassis, that every time you accelerated it the suspension would bottom out and every time you braked it would try to flip over forward.
I cannot find any info on this. I want to know so I can build a street duty pickup with airbags.
Thanks
