Just found a 96 xj. 4.0, 160,000+ miles, 5 spd, d60 front and rear, new NP231 HD, SYE, DC DS, 1350 U-jnts, 5+" lift, 35" MTR's w/bead locker rims, (lots of sheet metal trimming), asking $4300. Lots more done to it but to much to list it all.

Is this a good price for such a vehicle? if so its a little out of my budget. if anybody else is looking for something like this it is in Simi Valley on LA avenue in front of Magic Muffler.

Remi was looking for a XJ for a friend, cousin, friend of a friend, something like that...
Is it a two door or 4

Got pics?

It is a 4 door, red, grey interior, minor body damage, mild/moderate rocker damage, (only stock skids)

Ill take some pics of the thing tomorrow. Ill have the phone # too.

Thanks!

Get a good shot of the front axle (and rear for that matter) please.

Definately d60's, I talked to the guy who is selling it. Thefront came from a I think he said 86 or 89 f250 and the rear from a 79 dodge. both axles are still open with 4.10's and he has 4.56's in the garage (Yukon Gears) just no
carryers.
oh yeah, still original stock width.

Wow, good find. What suspension lift? Is it still coils in the front and springs in the back? I didn't think F-250's had dana 60 front axles, just 8 lug dana 44s. Sounds like a good deal on a XJ with the beef. I needs at least 37's though and some deeper gearing like 5.38's.

A bone stock 96' XJ goes for $4,300 or so. I have 1 I'm going to be selling and the fact that the dana 60's are stock width, this guy has lots of $ into it, sounds good. Too bad I'm all the way up here in Sac. I hope somewhere here gets it and wheels the thing.
