I bought some silicon kitchen funnels that collapse to put in the trail box. They were a dollar a piece.

Interesting, I'll have to order one of these in. I just looked it up at work our (NAPA) part number is 18609, and it sells for $22.49. That's a lot of dough for a funnel but it would replace every funnel you've got :dunno:

not a bad idea, but i like the grout bags better. i dont like the the fact that this one would have a seam to leak. get a grout bag for doing tile and block. they are extremely tough. you can wrap it around the oil filter and never even touch the filter. they work great. plus you can get them into just about any position to use a fill funnel. the only down side is that they are not as firm and will flop down if you cant hold it into position. but they are easy to store and cary.

Looks great for draining. I usually try to do that with some sort of carboard and end up with mixed results, not to mention I have to throw it away when I'm done. As for rolling it into a cone and using it as a fill funnel, it would make me a little nervous.

Guess you could use a Sam Splint the same way. Might be able to find them a bit cheaper. I tried Aluminum foil a couple time but that usually does not end well

a page from a glossy magazine or catalog works pretty good. Free and you don't have to clean it.

I have one of those at work. Saves a lot of money on rags and brake clean on the vehicles that put the filter above frame rails and skid plates and such.

For work it's worth it. At home it might not really pay for itself.
