Check out the post from Brett a few weeks ago asking people to go wheeling. He went solo and posted some nice pics. Fordyce is off of Eagle Lakes rd just west of Cisco Grove on I-80 east from Sac. The trail starts a mile or so from the exit and is really easy to get to. I would advise you not to go solo if you are advanced or a newbie. Fordyce is 1 of the harder trails in the area, it is the short wheel base Sierra Trek trail and is comparable to the Rubicon. Try to set a date in advance and get a group to go with you. Brett with his mj is looking to go wheeling often now that he is back in Cali for the summer.

I'd probably be up to a Rubicon or Fordyce trip this 4th of July weekend, meeting up Saturday morning. Let's see if we can get this trip off the ground and get a few people to come. When were you thinking of going?
