Well I didnt know were to post or if to post so here goes.
I have a work truck thats a ford f150 1988 and its fuel injected. Problem is that it wont seem to idle properly... it idles high then goes up in rpm by its self then down or whatever its random. somtimes it stalls at stop lights or reves up theres no ryme or reson.

air idle control, easy fix

either that or you have a leak in the intake manifold gasket. thats what mine did. thank god i got rid of it. I would still have it if it had a 300 6 cylinder
