First off, These are Ford injectors that I had sitting around my garage that I never used on a different project.

Anyway I have been getting the run-around on what lb/hr these injectors are. Some say that they are 17lb/hr, others say that they are 19 lb/hr. The marking on these injectors show XS2E-A5B on one side and 0 280 155 861 They are EV6 style injectors also.

Here is a picture of one injector.

What kind of ford motor are they out of? I'm actually curious because I have a 5.0 motor out of a bronco sitting in my garage not being used.

I am not sure, I bought them off of a guy a long time ago and never used them in my project. I think that they are Explorer injectors though.

Now the ivory/creme colored injector supposedly from a 2002 Cougar is a
Bosch P/N 0-280-155-861, this corresponds to a 19.8# injector.

Those are 17 pound injectors. The ones that will work are the yellow/orange ones which are 19 pounds. The 19 pound ones will be around 21-23 pounds with the 49 psi fuel pressure system that your 99' has. I think your stock 99' injectors are 21 pounds.

They are listed as 208 cc/min, 19.8 lbs/hr @ 3 BAR. At your fuel rail pressure of 49 psi they should be around 228 cc/min, 21 lb/hr. Stock flows 22.5 lb/hr @ 49psi. Might be a bit small, but that shouldn't cause much issue. However, I wouldn't run those unless they were sent off to get cleaned. Looks like they have been sitting in a salvage yard for years.
