I'm gonna be selling a few items on the forum in the near future and I would prefer to not ship a few of them if I can help it. How/where do I make a motion to open a for sale sub-forum for the Midwest chapter?

Just list it here, unless the MWC BOD decides to open a FS forum here.

To make a motion, just do it. You will then need a second, and the MWC BOD can consider it.

I would start a new thread with something like...

"I Kunaji motion for the MWC BOD to have a For Sale sub-forum in the MWC forum, can I get a second?"

How does $50 plus shipping sound? It's a custom formed crossmember that you will never again have the chance to buy. I'm practically giving it away for this price!!!
