Extra Parts Not Installed (included with sale).

  • Fog Light Wiring Harness.
  • Fog Lights Switch

  • Front passenger seatbelt. Original belt occasionally seizes not allowing it to pull out to buckle.

The Good

  • The interior is in great shape devoid of any funky smells, firm buckets, all seating surfaces free from rips or stains, headliner excellent, carpet great, dash and doors excellent. Center Console in great shape but someone disassembled it and did not refasten with all the screws, it is stable but needs to have some screws added.
  • Runs, and drives very well. The 4.0-liter motor is bulletproof and is at less than half its useful life.

The Not as Good

  • The car spent it’s first 25 years in the St. Louis area and has had rust repair. Repair was amateurish and not holding up well (see photo of right rear quarter in front of wheel opening).
  • Paint looks fine in pictures, but has plenty of flaws, chips, hail damage, and overspray from touch up paint. Basically, a solid classic Jeep meant to be driven with the patina.
  • The Oil Filter Adapter O-Rings need to be replaced (FEL-PRO ES72962 for $3.25). The adapter drips oil, not enough to move the level on the dipstick between oil changes.
