For a 2000 xj what size Inlet/Oulet do I need for a new flowmaster 40series muffler

So I put a hole in my muffler I need to replace it with a new one someone suggested a flowmaster series 40 I just don't know what size inlet outlet I need. I have been reading 2.5 2.5 but then I'm also reading 2.25 2.25 I don't know what is correct also do I need centered or offset? Thank you

stock is 2 1/4 (2.25) inlet and outlet and it is a center in offset out
