Food for thought idea

Posting this before I forget it, LOL. I suspect one of the many problems this chapter has gathering groups together (and yes there are many others, like time and distance), is what to do when they gather, say it is just a local gathering (not offroad rock climbing, mudding, camping...., but in the city).

What to attract people with. So had an idea. Many of us, including newbies spend most of out time trying to debug gremlins, and fix stuff.

So what if we set up a jeep whispering event, where a known bad part is deliberately installed on a working jeep, as a troubleshooting workshop, and contest of some sort? It might attract newbies, that want to learn and thus actually gather a sizeable group. Might even have an award for the first to properly locate the bad part(s)?
